Five ways to answer
Recognising a word among four options and typing it from memory are different skills. So the same material is asked in different ways.
- 01
Choice
Pick the right one. The easiest step, and the first.
- 02
Tiles
Assemble a phrase from parts — word order without typing.
- 03
Gaps
One missing form inside a real sentence.
- 04
Transformation
Rewrite a sentence: another tense, another case, a question.
- 05
Typing
From memory, with the keyboard. Nothing to recognise.

Two languages at once
You can learn German and read the explanations in English. The interface comes in six languages, and each course is written for its own language rather than translated from a shared one.
Level and programme
Your level can change any day, in both directions. Auto mode follows it, and every trainer stays open at every level — including the ones above and below yours.

Offline, and what that means for your data
Practice runs from material bundled with the app: no connection is required, and your learning data stays on your device.
